  • Seminole Success Center
    provides an alternative opportunity to complete requirements and receive a diploma from Seminole High School. The Success Center fills a need for the nontraditional student who requires special accommodations of time and curriculum in order to complete graduation requirements. Its establishment has helped curb the high school dropout rate. 


    Programs Offered
    • Choice program provides an opportunity for students to earn a high school diploma through an accelerated curriculum. Admission is by interview and approval. Information and admission packets are available directly from the Success Center. 
    • Corrective Action Program (CAP) is designed to provide a highly structured alternate placement for students who have encountered discipline problems. Upon completion of their time in CAP, they may return to their home campus.
  • Drivers Ed Car Clip Art

    If you are 18 to 24 years of age and do NOT have a driver's license, you MUST take a six (6) hour Adult Driver Education course to qualify for your license! The cost of the course must be paid in advance by cash or money order.

    • To register and pay for the course please call the Seminole Success Center at 432.758.2772.
    • Classes will be held from 9 am - 12 noon and 1 pm - 4 pm on a Saturday at Seminole Success Center located at 206 S.W. 3rd Street in Seminole.
    • Instructor: David Reves
    • 2017-18 Scheduled Classes
    • The cost for students of Loop, Seagraves or Seminole high schools is $0. (Presentation of a diploma or report card will suffice.)*  *Note: The cost of the course is reduced for these individuals because the Gaines County Equalization District pays for them.
    • The cost for students that ARE NOT Gaines County residents is $50.
    • The cost for students that ARE Gaines County residents is $25. (Proof of residency must be presented.)
    • Students who are 25 or older and in need of assistance to prepare for the written tests are welcome to enroll in the class. 
    • Class size will be 5-12 students per session. If there are not enough to justify a class for the session, the class may be rescheduled for the next month. You may call 432.758.2772 to verify class session dates.

    You will also need to to take to the DPS office:

    • Certified copy of your birth certificate or a passport or a document showing legal status in the U.S.
    • Your social security card
    • Two (2) proofs of residency

    When you pass your vision and driving tests at the DPS office, you will earn your license to drive. The fee will be $25 for a license valid for six (6) years.

    You will also need to to take to the DPS office:
