blue, black, purple, green, or pink pen
composition notebook (not spiral)
Always have supplies with you in class.
Many assignments will require a computer and internet. If these are not available at home, plan your schedule to utilize computer/internet before or after school or during tutorials where internet is available. I will be in my room by 7:30am if you need any help.
When you are absent, you have the number of days absent plus one more day to turn in any work assigned while you were absent. You must come get missing assignments and instruction before or after school or during tutorials. Do not ask for your work during class. *If the work was assigned before you were absent, and you were only absent when it was due, your work will be due on the day you return to class.
Cheating or plagiarizing will receive a zero. This includes being the receiver or giver of the answers.
Backpacks and/or purses must remain on the floor during class. Phones are not allowed out unless we are using them for class.
You will receive three (3) free passes each semester. These may be used for bathroom emergencies. For each pass not used by the time of the semester exam, you will receive 5 points added to your semester test grade.
I grew up in Sundown, Texas, and I participated in everything I possibly could. I graduated from Lubbock Christian University and have taught at Levelland, Whiteface, Sundown, Wellman, and Seminole. I have two sons, a husband and two dogs. I coach the UIL spelling and current issues and events teams. I enjoy sports, reading, and hiking, but my favorite thing to do is go scuba diving.
